UCIL recruitment 2024: Apply for Mining Mate, Blaster, and Winding Engine Driver posts

The Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL) has released an official notification, inviting applications for the posts of Mining Mate-C, Blaster-B, and Winding Engine Driver-B. 

The application process concludes on November 30, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

Mining Mate-C (64 Posts): Candidates applying for this position should have passed intermediate with unrestricted Mining Mate Certificate along with 5 years work experience as mining mate in underground underground mechanised metal mines post obtaining certificate.

Blaster-B (8 Posts): Aspirants interested for this post should have a matriculation degree with unrestricted Blaster’s Certificate along with a 3 year work experience as blaster in underground metal mine post acquiring certificate.

Winding Engine Driver-B (10 Posts): Applicants willing for this position should have matriculation with 1st class Winding Engine Driver certificate with a work experience of 3 years as winding engine driver post possession of certififcate.

Age Limit

The upper age limit for applying in the Mining Mate-C position is 35 years. However, for candidates applying for positions of Blaster-B and Winding Engine Driver-B, the upper age limit is 32 years.

The upper age limit relaxation is varied across different categories. For SC/ST the upper age limit relaxation is 5 years and for OBC is it 3 years. Candidates belonging to PwBD UR and EWS it is 10 years. For PwBD SC/ST it is 15 years and OBC it is 13 years.

Selection Process

Candidates will need to undergo written test, trade test, and personal interview before the final selection. 

Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable amount of Rs 500 as intimation fee. However, for SC/ST/PwBD and female candidates are exempted from paying any fee.
