The Tea Board of India, which is under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has invited applications to fill up Junior Analyst and Chemist positions on a contractual basis.
The contractual manpower will be recruited for the Quality Control Laboratory, Tea Park, Siliguri, the official notification read.
Interested candidates can apply for the notified posts before August 27, 2021.

1. Junior Analyst: 1 post
Qualification: B.Sc with Chemistry as major subject.
Experience: Minimum two years experience in a Food Testing laboratory.
Job Description: Sample preparation for analysis of pesticide residue, metals, raw data recording, periodic check of documents, test results.
Remuneration: Rs 20,000/ month (Consolidated)
2. Junior Chemist: 1 post
Qualification: B.Sc with Chemistry as major subject.
Experience: Minimum two years experience in a Food Testing laboratory.
Job Description: Analysis of tea for various biochemical parameters, raw data recording, periodic check of documents, test results.
Other Details:
Age Limit: Maximum age for both the posts should not exceed 30 years as on August 27, 2021.
Tea Board reserves the right to cancel the process of recruitment at any stage without assigning any reason. The Board also has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for the interview based on the qualification/ experience.
