Supreme Court of India has released an official notification inviting applications for recruitment against various vacancies- Court Master (Short Hand), Senior Personal Assistant, and Personal Assistant.

Court Master (Short Hand), 31 Posts: To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess a Degree in Law from a recognized university in India and demonstrate proficiency in English Shorthand at a speed of 120 words per minute. Additionally, applicants should have knowledge of computer operations with a typing speed of 40 words per minute. A minimum of 5 years of regular service in roles such as Private Secretary, Senior PA, PA, or Senior Stenographer within Government, Public Sector Undertakings, or Statutory Bodies is required.
Senior Personal Assistant, 33 Posts: Candidates should hold a degree from a recognized university and possess proficiency in English Shorthand with a speed of 110 words per minute. Additionally, applicants should have knowledge of computer operations, including a typing speed of 40 words per minute.
Personal Assistant, 43 Posts: The eligibility criteria for this position include a degree from a recognized university, proficiency in English Shorthand with a speed of 100 words per minute, and knowledge of computer operations with a typing speed of 40 words per minute.
Candidates applying for Court Master (Shorthand) should be between 30 and 45 years while those applying for Senior Personal Assistant and Personal Assistant should be between 18 and 30 years.
Age relaxations are provided to SC/ST/OBC candidates, physically challenged individuals, ex-servicemen, and dependents of freedom fighters as per government regulations.
Candidates will first undergo a Typing Speed Test on the computer. Those who pass will proceed to a Skill Test in Stenography, an Objective Type Written Test, and a Computer Knowledge Test. Candidates who qualify in these tests will be invited for an interview. Based on the interview results, candidates who secure the required marks will be placed on separate merit lists for appointment to the above-mentioned posts.
Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee online. The fee is Rs 1,000 for General and OBC candidates. However, for SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PH candidates, and Dependents of Freedom Fighters, the application fee is Rs 250, plus applicable bank charges.
Payment can only be made online via the UCO Bank payment gateway. No other form of payment or applications sent by post will be accepted, the notification read.
