The Government College of Engineering, Keonjhar, has invited applications for the recruitment of regular faculty positions of Professor and Associate Professor in the various departments of the institute.

The move is seen as the result of the continuous protest by the students of the college who had been demanding regular faculty, placements and other basic amenities at the higher educational institution.

Responding to the allegations, principal of the institute Trilochan Sahoo had then said that applications for unreserved Associate Professors and Professors were earlier invited but they were directed by the government to keep reservation in the recruitment. “As per the instruction and the vacancy in the college, we have already written to the State government," he had said.

Meanwhile, the last date to apply for the faculty positions in the engineering college is December 30, 2021. Application need to be sent through Speed Post/Registered Post only.
