SSC to release Constable (GD) 2025 notification soon; deets inside

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to release the notification for the Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2025, soon. 

Once available, candidates can check the notification on the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.

Here are the tentative dates for the SSC Constable (GD) recruitment examination

• SSC GD 2024 Notification Release: August 27, 2024

• Last Date to Apply for SSC GD 2024: October 5, 2024

• SSC GD 2024 Exam Date: January-February 2025

As aspirants await the SSC GD notification for 2025, here is some key information based on last year’s notification:

Age Limit

Candidates should be between 18-23 years as of the cut-off date (which will be mentioned in the notification) to be eligible to apply. Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable to reserved category candidates.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed the Class 10 examination from a recognized board or university. Those who have not acquired the required educational qualification by the cut-off date will not be eligible to apply.

Application Fee 

Based on last year's information, the application fee is Rs 100. However, women candidates, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from paying the fee.
