The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced that it will publish the final results of the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination 2019 as per the directions of the Delhi High Court or the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) as the matter is sub-judice.

In an important notice released on Wednesday (February 2), the Commission said the result of the CGLE 2019 has been put on hold following the direction of the Delhi High Court.

Many candidates have filed cases with the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), Principal Bench, New Delhi and Delhi High Court. The Commission has also received a large number of representations from the candidates of CGLE 2019 regarding the status of final result.
The Commission said that the Delhi High Court in its order passed on October 6, 2021 has refrained it from publishing the result of the CGLE 2019 till the matter is disposed of.

“Since all four tier examinations i.e., Tier-I to IV have already been conducted, the respondents are restrained from disclosing the result qua CGLE 2019, till the disposal of the O.A. i.e. O.A. No. 925/2021,” the order stated.

The court added that the results of the candidates should be kept in a sealed cover and appointment letter(s) to successful candidates should not be issued till the Tribunal disposes of the case.

“At the time of disposing of the O.A., the Tribunal will pass suitable directions as to what is required to be done, at the respondents’ end,” it the order stated.

Stating that appropriate action will be taken as per the directions of the High Court and CAT, the Commission said it has filed a Miscellaneous Application before the CAT for early hearing of the matter.
