SSC
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released an official notification for the direct recruitment of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translation Officer, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator and Senior Translator through an Open Competitive Computer Based Examination.
Interested aspirants can check their eligibility to apply on the official website of SSC, link - ssc.gov.in. The application process has started from August 2 and will conclude on August 25, 2024.
However, the online payment window is open till August 26, 2024.
The correction window will be available from September 4 till September 5, 2024.
The minimum age limit for applying is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years. Candidates should not have been born before August 2, 1994 and not later than August 1, 2006.
The upper age limit relaxation for candidates belonging to categories of SC/ST is 5 years and OBC is 3 years.

Aspirants are required to hold a degree in relevant discipline from a recognised institute or university for being eligible. Candidates can refer to the official notification for more details.
The exam is divided in two phases. The first phase will be in CBT mode and consist of 100 objective type questions carrying 100 marks. The second phase of examination will be of subjective type consisting questions of essay and translation and carry 200 marks.
Both the examinations will have a duration of 2 hours. Each wrong answer will result in negative marking with a deduction of 0.25 marks.
