The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is anticipated to initiate the registration process for the recruitment of Constable (General Duty) positions across various departments.

Educational Qualification

Aspiring candidates for the Constable (General Duty) position are required to have successfully completed their 10th-grade education or its equivalent from a recognised board.

Age Limit

The age of candidates must be between 18 years and 23 years as on January 1, 2024.

Selection Process

The recruitment process will include a Computer-Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Medical Examination, and Document Verification.

Application Fee

The application fee is Rs 100. However, female candidates and individuals from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are not required to pay the fee.
