SSC recruitment 2023: Applications invited for 307 translator post, apply by Sept 12

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has invited applications for recruitment of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator and Senior Hindi Translator in various departments.

The application process has already commenced and the last date to submit the application form is September 12.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the posts through the official website of SSC Headquarters, i.e. https://ssc.nic.in.

Junior Translator: 263 posts
Junior Hindi Translator: 21 posts
Junior Translation Officer: 13 posts
SHT & ST: 10 posts

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed Diploma/ Bachelor’s/ Master’s in relevant discipline from recognized University/ Institute

Age Limit

The age of the candidates must be between 18 years to 30 years as on August 1, 2023.

Age Relaxation

• SC/ST: 5 years

• OBC: 3 years

• PwBD (Unreserved): 10 years

• PwBD (OBC): 13 years

• PwBD (SC/ ST): 15 years

Application Fee

• Unreserved Candidates: Rs 100

• ST/PwBD/ESM Candidates: Nil

Pay Scale

• Junior Translation Officer(JTO) in Central Secretariat Official Language Service (CSOLS): Level-6 (Rs 35400 – Rs 1,12,400)

• Junior Translation Officer(JTO) in Armed Forces Headquarters(AFHQ): Level-6 (Rs 35,400 – Rs 1,12,400)

• Junior Hindi Translator (JHT)/ Junior Translation Officer(JTO)/Junior Translator(JT) in various Central Government Ministries/Departments/Organizations: Level-6 (Rs 35,400 – Rs 1,12,400)

• Senior Hindi Translator(SHT)/Senior Translator (ST) in various Central Government Ministries/Departments/Organizations: Level-7 (Rs 44,900 – Rs 1,42,400)

• Log in to apply for the form

• Fill out the application form

• Attach required documents

• Pay the application fee

• Download the application form once submitted and get a printout of it for future reference
