SSC cracks down on exam content leaks: Strict action against social media disclosures

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced that it has identified individuals engaged in sharing examination content via social media platforms such as YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), and Facebook. 

The commission has issued a stern warning emphasizing that such acts constitute serious misconduct and will be subject to severe disciplinary action.

In an official statement, the SSC said that unlawful or unauthorized disclosure, reproduction, transfer, or possession of experimental materials is a serious offence. 

Participants in these activities will face a ban or rejection from the test. 

Printing, reproducing, or facilitating transmission of test materials, in any form or medium—whether oral, written, electronic, or electronic—is considered, the report emphasizes as serious misconduct.

The SSC reiterated that anyone found in unauthorized possession of examination materials or sensitive documents from the examination center in violation of this rule will face severe consequences. 

Disciplinary and legal action will be taken, and such cases may be referred to the police if necessary.

SSC is currently conducting SSC CGL Tier 1 exam, which is expected to end on September 26, 2024.
