The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released an important notification for candidates who have been selected for appointment as a postal assistant and sorting assistant through the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level (CHSL) Examination, 2018.  

As per the latest notification of the Commission issued on Monday, the time period for submission of postal circle preference by the selected candidates has been extended till December 17. 

The SSC in its earlier notice dated November 18, 2021 had advised candidates who were recommended for appointment to the posts of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant in Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications to submit their preference/option. 

The candidates were requested to indicate their preference of postal circle and submit the duly filled-in option form by December 6. 2021. 

“As the preference of the Postal Circle is yet to be received from many candidates recommended by SSC for the posts of PA/SA it has been decided by the Competent Authority to extend the deadline for submission of preference form of the Postal Circles till December 17, 2021,” the notice stated.

The candidates who are yet to submit the preference are advised to send their preference/option form by e-mall to pasachsle2018@gmall.com and speed post/register post to Assistant Director General (SPN), Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications, Dak Bhawan, Sansad Marg, New Delhi- 110001.

Those who have already submitted their presence forms need not send it afresh, the SSC added.
