The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has kicked off the application submission process for Selection Post phase X/2022. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of SSC, ssc.nic.in. 

While the application process began on Thursday (May 12), the last date to submit application forms is June 13. Through the recruitment drive, the Commission is likely to fill a total of 2065 vacancies across the country.

Candidates should apply only once for one category of post with an application fee of Rs 100. After successful submission of online application, candidates must take a printout of the application form for submitting the same along with the requisite documents, duly self-attested, as and when called for by the Commission after the conduct of computer-based examination.

"There will be three separate Computer Based Examinations consisting of Objective Type Multiple Choice questions, for the posts with minimum Educational Qualification of Matriculation, Higher Secondary, and Graduation & above levels," read the official notification.

The commission further advised candidates to visit the websites of the regional offices for the latest information in respect of various categories of posts pertaining to the region concerned and the various stages of the recruitment process.

SSC recruitment 2022: Important Dates

Dates for submission of online applications: 12.05.2022 to 13.06.2022

Last date and time for receipt of online applications: 13.06.2022 (up to 23.00 PM)

Last date and time for making online fee payment: 15.06.2022 (23.00 PM)

Last date and time for generation of offline Challan: 16.06.2022 (23.00 PM)

Last date for payment through Challan (during working hours of Bank): 18.06.2022

Dates of ‘Window for Application Form Correction’ including online payment: 20.06.2022 to 24.06.2022 (23:00 PM)

Dates of Computer Based Examination: August 2022 (tentatively)

As per the notification, "Candidates scoring less than cut-off marks as given below will not be considered for the next stage of recruitment: UR: 35%, OBC/ EWS: 30%, Other categories: 25%."
