Sports Authority of India invites applications for athlete relation manager and other post

The Sports Authority of India (SAI), an autonomous organization under the administrative control of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, has invited applications from qualified and motivated Indian citizens for providing consultancy as Young Professional (Athlete Relation Manager) & Young professional (General Management).

As per the advertisement, the engagements will be on contract basis initially for a period of 2 years and extendable for 1 more year at NCOE Bhopal.

1. Young Professional (Athlete Relation Manager): 1 post

Age Limit: 35 Years (3 years age relaxation for OBC category)

Salary Scale: Rs.40,000 to Rs.60,000

3. Young Professional (General Management): 1 post

Age Limit: 35 Years

Salary Scale: Rs.40,000 to Rs.60,000

Terms and Conditions

Tenure: The contractual engagement will be initially for a period of 2 years further extendable for 1 year. The contract can be terminated by giving a 30 days’ notice period by either party, i.e., SAI or the employee. In cases of extreme impropriety by the employee, the contract will be terminated immediately without prior notice.

Tax Deduction at Source: The Income Tax or any other tax liable to be deducted, as per the prevailing rules will be deducted at source before effecting the payment, for which the SAI will issue TDS /Service Tax Certificates, as applicable.
