South Eastern Railway announces Group C, D vacancies under sports quota; check details

South Eastern Railway (SER) is inviting applications for Group C and Group D positions under the sports quota. 

Aspiring candidates can submit their applications via the official website of RRC SER at rrcser.co.in. 

The application deadline for these positions is December 26, 2023.

South Eastern Railway Recruitment Details

Total Vacancy: 55 posts

• Group C: 21 posts

• Group D: 33 posts

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed Class 10th/Class 12th/Degree in relevant discipline from recognised University/Institute.

Age Limit

The age criteria for candidates is set between 18 years and 25 years as on January 1, 2024.

Application Fee

The examination fee is Rs 500 for UR/OBC categories and Rs 250 for candidates from SC/ST/Ex. Servicemen/Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), Women, Minorities, and Economic Backward Classes. 

Payment of the fee can be made through an IPO or Bank Draft. The Bank Draft/IPO should be drawn in favor of FA&CAO, South Eastern Railway, Garden Reach – 700043, and is payable at GPO/Kolkata.

Selection Process

Selection will be based upon performance in sports Trials followed by Certificate (Sports & Educational)

Verification by a duly constituted Recruitment Committee of this railway.
