South Central Railway Invites Applications For Group C Posts In 7th CPC, Check Details

The South Central Railway has invited applications for Group C posts- recruitment of sports person against sports quota.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the positions online through the official site of South Central Railway, scr.indianrailways.gov.in.

While the registration process for the same began yesterday, December 18, the last date of application submission is January 17, 2022.

"Online Applications are invited from eligible sports persons from the residents of Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahoul & Spiti districts, Panji sub-division of Himachal Pradesh and Andaman & Nicobar, Lakshadweep Islands...," read the official notification.

Through the recruitment drive, a total of 21 Group C sportsperson posts will be filled in the Pay Band- Rs 15200-Rs 20200 with Grade Pay Rs 12000/Rs 1900 in Level 3/2 in 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC).

Age limit (as on January 1, 2022): Those applying for the posts need to have attained 18 years of age. The upper age limit for the same is 25 years.

Note: There is NO relaxation in lower or upper age limit for any category of candidates.

Educational Qualifications: Minimum pass in 10th or SSC or equivalent with ITI for Grade Pay Rs 119001- (ITI is essential for considering in Technical Trades).

For other categories in Grade Pay Rs 12000-Rs 81900 is 12th (+2 Stage) or Intermediate or Equivalent examination. Date of Notification will be the cut-off date for passing the prescribed qualification.
