SLRC Assam Recruitment: Apply for Grade 3 and Grade 4 posts; know details

The Assam State Government has unveiled plans for a significant recruitment effort through the State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC). 

This drive aims to fill 12,600 vacancies for positions classified as Grade 3 and Grade 4, as indicated in official notifications. 

The application process is scheduled to commence on November 10 and conclude on December 29, and interested candidates can submit their applications through sebaonline.org and assam.gov.in.

Assam Govt Recruitment Details

For Grade 3

• Category I - Bachelor Degree Level: 4,055 posts

• Category II - HSSLC (Class 12) Level: 3,127 posts

• Category III - HSLC Level: 418 posts

For Grade 4

• Passed HSLC (Class 12) or equivalent examination: 1,060 posts

• HSLC+ITI: 1,990 posts

• Completed education up to Class 8: 1,950 posts

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed Class 8th/Class 10th/Class 12th/Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline from recognised University/institute.

Age Limit

To be eligible, candidates must be at least 18 years old and not exceed 40 years of age as of January 1, 2023. The upper age limit can be extended for candidates in reserved categories.

Application Fee

Candidates do not need to pay any application fee when submitting their online applications.

Selection Process

Regarding grade 3 vacancies, details about the selection criteria and examination method will be provided at a later date. Following the written examination, candidates who qualify may be required to undergo skill tests, particularly for positions related to Computer, Stenography, Driving, etc.

For grade 4, the selection process will consist of two stages: a written test and an interview.
