The online application and registration process for the recruitment of Revenue Inspectors (RI) by Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) is about to end, but aspirants are finding the situation chaotic as the Commission's website is remaining slow most of the time.

According to OSSSC notification, a total of 586 vacancies are available under District Cadre Posts of Odisha Revenue Inspector Recruitment 2021 for which candidates have been asked to submit their applications through www.osssc.gov.in by July 26, 2021.

However, most applicants now are finding it difficult to submit their online job applications as the website is not opening easily. Aspirants have complained that its response time is slow and it is often hanging.

“I have tried to submit my application through the website umpteen times, but it's very slow and not opening,” said an aspirant Dipak Kumar Satpathy.

Though many aspirants have complained about the problem before OSSSC several times, it is said to have fallen in deaf ears.

“We have informed OSSSC about the technical snag so many times. But no step has been taken yet to address it,” said another aspirant Santosh Sundaray.

It is worth mentioning that the posts are contractual on consolidated monthly remuneration in various district establishments under the Revenue and Disaster Management Department of Odisha government.
