South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) is currently accepting applications for Apprentice positions. 

Interested and eligible can submit your application online on SECL's official website at secl-cil.in. 

The deadline for application submission is February 27, 2024.

Graduate Apprentice: 350 posts

• Mining Engg: 200 posts

• Electrical Engg: 50 posts 

• Mechanical Engg: 50 posts

• Civil Engg: 30 posts

• Electronics and Telecommunication: 20 posts

Technician Apprentice: 1075 posts

• Mining Engg/ Mining and Mine Surveying: 900 posts

• Mechanical Engg: 50 posts

• Electrical Engg: 75 posts

• Civil Engg: 50 posts

Educational Qualification

To be eligible for the graduate apprenticeship, candidates must possess a 4-year degree, and for technician apprenticeship, a 3-year diploma in the relevant stream or branch of engineering. Alternatively, an equivalent qualification granted by an institution recognised by the Government is also acceptable.

Furthermore, candidates should not have completed their engineering degree or diploma more than five years before the date of joining as an apprentice.

Age Limit

Candidate should have completed 18 years of age as on February 13, 2024.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates is based on the date of passing in engineering/diploma. Once provisionally selected, candidates will undergo training only after document verification and clearance in the medical examination.
Document verification is scheduled to commence from March 15 onwards, and the specific schedule will be available on the website.
