SECL announces recruitment for Medical Officer and Specialist Positions, apply before April 11

South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) has announced recruitment for Medical officer and other specialist posts.

The application process is underway and the deadline for application submission is April 11, 2024.

SECL Recruitment Details

Total Vacancy: 87 posts

• Sr Medical Specialist (E4)/ Medical Specialist (E3): 58 posts

• Sr Medical Officer (E3): 27 posts

• Sr Medical Officer (Dental) (E3): 2 posts

Age Limit

As of January 31, 2024, the upper age limit for General/UR candidates applying for the position of Senior Medical Specialist (E4 Grade) is set at 42 years. For candidates applying for the position of Senior Medical Officer (Sr. Medical Officer (Dental)) or Medical Specialist in E3 Grade, the upper age limit for General/UR candidates is 35 years.

Educational Qualification

For being eligible to apply, candidates must have Graduation and Post Graduation medical degree in relevant discipline from recognized University or Institute.

Pay Scale

The grade/scale of pay for various positions is as follows:

• Sr. Medical Specialist, E-4: Rs 70,000 – Rs 2,00,000*

• Medical Specialist, E-3: Rs 60,000 – Rs 1,80,000*

• Sr. Medical Officer, E-3: Rs 60,000 – Rs 1,80,000*

• Sr. Medical Officer (Dental), E-3: Rs 60,000 – Rs 1,80,000*

Candidates selected for these positions will be entitled to receive additional benefits such as Non-Practicing Allowance, Performance Related Pay (PRP), perks, Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA), along with leave encashment, medical facilities, etc., in accordance with the company's rules. Pay protection will be provided to selected candidates from government/autonomous bodies/PSUs for positions.
