The Supreme Court of India has invited applications to fill the Law Clerk Cum Research Associate post.
Eligible candidates may apply by visiting the SCI website at sci.gov.in.
The application forms will be available starting January 14, 2025, and the last date to submit the forms is February 7, 2025.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Law (including an Integrated Law Degree) from a recognized School/College/University/Institution within India. Such an institution must be recognized by the Bar Council of India for enrollment as an Advocate.
The candidates should have good research and analytical skills, and excellent writing ability. He/She should also have acquaintance with legal databases such as e-SCR, Manupatra, SCC Online, LexisNexis, and Westlaw.
The aspirants should be between 20 and 32 years old on February 2, 2025.
There are three stages of the selection procedure:
Part I: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) to test legal knowledge and comprehension skills.
Part II: Subjective Written Examination to test writing and analytical skills.
Part III: Interview.
Parts I and II shall be held on the same day in two sessions in 23 cities across India.
The application fee is Rs 500 plus applicable bank charges. Online payment is to be made through the UCO Bank Payment Gateway only. Other modes of application or payment will not be accepted.
