The Supreme Court of India (SCI) has announced openings for the position of Law Clerk-cum-Research Associates.
Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply online via the official SCI website at main.sci.gov.in.
The registration process commenced on January 24, will conclude on February 15, 2024.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must be Law Graduates with a Bachelor's Degree in Law from a recognized institution in India, approved by the Bar Council of India. Those in their fifth year of the Five-Year Integrated Law Course or third year of the Three-Year Law Course, after graduation in any stream, are also eligible, provided they can furnish proof of acquiring the Law qualification before assuming the role of Law Clerk-cum-Research Associate. Additionally, candidates should possess research and analytical skills, writing abilities, and proficiency in computer operations, including using search engines like e-SCR, Manupatra, SCC Online, LexisNexis, Westlaw, etc.
Age Limit
Applicants should have an age between 20 and 32 years as of February 15, 2024.
Selection Process
The selection process will comprise three phases: Part I - Multiple Choice Based Questions assessing candidates' understanding and application of the law, along with comprehension skills; Part II - Subjective Written Examination evaluating writing and analytical skills; and Part III - Interview.
Application Fee
Applicants need to remit the Application/Test Fee amounting to Rs.500/-, along with applicable bank charges, through online mode exclusively. The fee is to be paid online using the Payment Gateway facilitated by UCO Bank.
