SBI PO recruitment 2025: 541 vacancies released, apply by July 14

The State Bank of India (SBI) has released the official notification (CRPD/PO/2025-26/04) for the recruitment of Probationary Officers (PO) for the financial year 2025–26. Inrterested candidates can apply at www.sbi.co.in/careers. The application window will remain open until July 14, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government. Those in the final year/semester of graduation are also eligible, provided they can furnish proof of passing the qualification on or before the interview date.

Age Limit and Relaxation

Applicants must be aged between 21 and 30 years as on April 1, 2025. They should have been born between April 2, 1995 and April 1, 2004 (both dates inclusive). Reserved category candidates are eligible for relaxation as per government rules.

Selection Process

The selection process includes three stages: Prelims, Mains, and a final phase with Group Exercise, Interview, and a Psychometric Test. Candidates must clear each phase to proceed, with final selection based on cumulative performance across all stages.

Probation and Salary

Selected candidates will undergo a two-year probation period. The basic pay is Rs 48,480 per month, with an annual CTC of around Rs 20.43 lakh at the Mumbai centre. Postings will be across India.
