Candidates, wishing to appear the State Bank of India’s (SBI) Probationary Officer (PO) examination, need to brace up as the bank is all set to release the official notification for the examination soon.

As per reports, the notification will be released on the official website of SBI by September or October. 
 
Eligibility criteria for SBI PO 2021: 

The candidate must be between 21 and 30 years old.

Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the Final Year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply. 

Application Fee:

Candidates belonging to General/ EWS/ OBC need to pay Rs 750 towards the application fee, while the SC/ ST/PWD candidates are exempted from paying the examination fee. 

Number of Attempts: 

1. General/EWS-4 Chances 
2. General/PWD- 7 Chances
3. OBC/OBC (PWD)- 7 Chances
4. OBC/SC (PWD)ST/ST(PWD)- No restrictions

Examination Pattern:

There will be three stages of the examination- Preliminary Exams, Mains Exams and Group Discussion or Interview
While the Preliminary Exams, Mains Exams will be conducted in online mode, the third one (Group Discussion or Interview) will be an offline interview round.
