Sainik School Bhubaneswar announces vacancy for TGT English regular post

The Sainik School Bhubaneswar (Under Sainik Schools Society, Ministry of Defence, New Delhi) has invited applications from eligible Indian National candidates for one post of TGT-English on regular basis reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC).

Details

Essential:- Four years integrated degree course (B.A.B.Ed) with English of Regional College of Education of NCERT or other NCTE recognised institution with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject as well as in the aggregate

OR

Bachelors Honours Degree with at least 50% marks in concerned subject (English) / combination of subjects and also in aggregate. The candidate should have studied the requisite subject in all three years of degree course

OR

Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject (English)/ combination of subjects and also in aggregate. The candidate should have studied the requisite subject in all three years of degree course. B.Ed Degree (B.Ed degree not applicable for four years integrated degree course, ie B.A.B.Ed) from NCTE recognised institutions / universities.

Pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) Paper-2, conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.

Remuneration / Pay & Age Limit

Level -7 (Rs 44,900 –1,42,400) in the Pay Matrix) (Pre-revised Pay Scale 9300-34800, Grade Pay-4600/-)

Age limit: 21 to 35 Years as on December 30, 2022

NPS, LTC, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, Transport Allowance and subsidised schooling for two children as admissible as per Sainik Schools Society Rules & Regulations, 1997 in vogue and as amended from time to time.

Selection Process:- Written Test, Skill Test (Teaching Aptitude / Classroom teaching demonstration) and Interview. The candidates securing minimum essential marks and shortlisted in the written test will only be permitted to take part in further selection process.
