SAIL recruitment 2022: Big opportunity for nursing students, check walk-in-interview details

The Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has released a notification inviting applications from interested and eligible qualified nurses to undertake the “Proficiency Training” in 600-bedded multi-specialty Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP) hospital under M&HS department.

The eligible candidates are advised to apply on or before August 29.

Age limit

The age of the candidate should be below 30 years as on the date of walk-in-interview.

The relaxation in upper age limit is 3 years for Other Backward Class (Non-Creamy Layer)-OBCNCL and 5 years for SC & ST candidates.

Educational qualification

The interested and eligible candidate should have passed B.Sc. (Nursing) / Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery.

Departments/ Disciplines

The selected candidates will be appointed in ICU/NICU/BICU, Medicine, Surgery, Obs & Gyn, Paediatrics, Casualty, Orthopaedics, COVID, chest and other associated departments.

Duration

The tenure of contractual engagement of qualified nurses would be for a period of 18 months.

Stipend

The stipend is Rs 8,000 plus per month.

Leave

15 days Special Leave (Maximum 10 days leave may be granted in one spell) during the tenure.

How to apply

Eligible and interested candidates are required to appear for walk-in-interview as per the schedule. They may also send their application in the prescribed format (Annexure-A) to the email id: rectt.dsp@sail.in within August 29.

Candidates are advised to check their mail & SAIL website frequently, as further communication with the candidates, if required, will be made through email/website.

Selection process

Eligible candidates may walk-in for interview along with relevant certificates/documents in original with a set of self-attested photocopies.

Candidate who fails to produce the certificates/documents in original in support of eligibility will not be allowed to appear the interview.

Selection for „Proficiency Training‟ will be done by judging their performance through interview only.
