The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) of Western Railway (WR) is set to open applications for over 5066 Apprentice posts from September 23, 2024. Eligible candidates can apply online through rrc-wr.com until October 22, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed matriculation or class 10 under the 10+2 system with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board. Applicants must be between 15 and 24 years of age as of October 22, 2024.

Those awaiting SSC/ITI results as of the notification date are ineligible. An ITI certificate affiliated with NCVT/SCVT is mandatory.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on a merit list, calculated from the average percentage of marks in both Matriculation (minimum 50%) and ITI, with equal weightage given to both.

Final selection depends on verification of original documents and medical fitness.

Application Fee

A non-refundable application fee of Rs 100 applies, while SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates are exempt. Payment can be made via Debit/Credit Card, Internet Banking, etc.
