RRC recruitment 2022: Railway announces Group C posts, check details

The Railway Recruitment Cell, RRC has released a fresh notification inviting applications for Group C positions. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the posts on or before September 29, 2022.

"Online Applications are invited from the eligible and meritorious Sports persons for filling up of 21 (Twenty-one) posts against Employment Notification No. RRC/ERISports Quota (Open Advertisement) 2022-2023 of Eastern Railway," read the official notification.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years. The date of reckoning of age is January 1, 2023. "There is no relaxation in qualifying criteria, Age, or reservation to any specific community is provided in this recruitment i.e. SC, ST, OBC & EWS," it added.

Educational Qualification (Level 4 and 5): Graduation or its equivalent in any discipline from a government recognised university for recruitment.

Educational Qualification (Level 2 and 2): Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination. Educational qualification must be from a government recognised Board/Council/Institution etc. (Minimum educational qualification should be as applicable to the post offered for NTPC posts). 

Note: For appointment against sports quota in Technician-III, the minimum educational qualification is 10th pass. However, the training period for such Sports Quota appointees will be three years, unless they pass ITI qualification in the relevant trade, in which case it will be six months. 

The RRC further instructed candidates to go through the detailed notification, which is available on the Notice Board of the official website of Railway Recruitment Cell, Eastern Railway/Kolkata www.rrcer.com, for discipline-wise eligibility norms, medical standards, other criteria and the recruitment process.
