The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) has announced the date of the last or phase 5 examination for recruitment of Group ‘D’ vacancies in Level 1 of 7 CPC Pay Matrix.
The computer-based test (CBT) of the recruitment drive is being conducted in multiple phases. The last phase examination will be conducted on October 6, 2022 and October 11, 2022, the RRC said in a notice on Monday.
“…Now, it is informed that CBT for the last phase i.e. Phase-5 comprising of remaining one RRC i.e. South Western Railway (Hubli) will be held on 06.10.2022 and 11.10.2022 in various cities all over India, subject to the prevailing conditions and Government guidelines issued from time to time in view of handling of the Covid-19 pandemic,” the notice read.
The cell has said the link for viewing the Exam City & Date and downloading of Travel Authority for SC/ST candidates will be made live latest by 11am on 27.09.2022 on the official websites of all RRBs. Downloading of E-Call letters will start four days prior to exam date mentioned in Exam City and Date intimation link.
“Aadhaar linked Biometric authentication of candidates will be done in the exam centre prior to entry in the exam hall. Candidates are required to bring their original Aadhaar card,” the RRC said.
“Candidates are advised to refer only to the official websites of RRBs for latest updates on the recruitment process. Please do not be misled by unauthenticated sources. Beware of touts who try to misguide candidates with fake promises of appointment for jobs on illegal consideration. RRB selections are based on Computer Based Test (CBT) and recruitment is based only on the merit of the candidates,” it added.
