RRC East Central Railway recruitment 2025: Apply for 1154 Act Apprentices vacancies

Railway Recruitment Cell, East Central Railway has released an official notification inviting applications for recruitment into Act Apprentices. Interested candidates can check their eligibility to apply on the official website of RRC ECR, link - www.rrcecr.gov.in. The application process starts today on Jan 25 and will be valid till Feb 14, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should have completed the Matriculation/10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board. Additionally, the candidate should possess an ITI certification in the relevant trade, such as a National Trade Certificate issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or a Provisional Certificate issued by the National or State Council for Vocational Training.

Age Limit

The minimum age limit is 15 years and the maximum age limit to apply for the apprenticeship position is 24 years. However, the upper age limit is varied across reserved categories. 

Candidates belonging to SC/ST communities are allowed a relaxation of 5 years, while candidates from OBC communities are given a 3-year relaxation. For Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), the age limit is relaxed by 10 years for UR candidates, 13 years for OBC candidates, and 15 years for SC/ST candidates.

Additionally, ex-servicemen are eligible for age relaxation equal to their total military service plus 3 years, provided they have completed at least six months of regular, attested service.

Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable amount of Rs 100 as the intimation fee. The payment should be made through online mode only.
