The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has cancelled the NTPC typing skill test scheduled to be conducted on August 12. The RRB informed that the first shift Computer Based Typing Skill Test has been cancelled due to technical reasons.

"The first shift Computer Based Typing Skill Test against CEN-01/2019 held on August 12, 2022 stands cancelled due to technical reasons. The Re-exam of Typing Skill Test only for the candidate who were present and attended the Test in the first shift will be held shortly," read the official notice.

Meanwhile, the RRB will announce the date and time of re-exam soon. "The LINK for viewing the Exam City & Date and downloading of Travelling Authority for SC/ST candidates will be made available on website 10 days prior to the date of examination," it said.

It further advised candidates to refer only to the official website of RRBs for the latest updates on the recruitment process and not to get misled by unauthenticated sources.

"Beware of touts who try to misguide candidates with fake promises of appointment for jobs on illegal consideration. RRB selections are based on Computer Based Tests (CBT) and recruitment is based only on the merit of the candidates," it added.
