The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has issued an important notice urging candidates to remain cautious as some ‘unscrupulous elements’ are trying to mint money through illegal gratification.

In its notice, the OPSC has categorically stated that the Commission follows a robust, transparent and merit-based process in all recruitment process.

“Some unscrupulous elements are trying to win confidence of gullible candidates, assuring their selection with illegal gratification. The candidates are advised not to be influenced by such elements,” the OPSC notice read.

The OPSC has asked candidates to report such incidents to the Commission for appropriate action/ remedial measures. The candidates can report such incidents by dialing -06712301107/2304090. The candidates can also report by sending an email to opsc@nic.in.

Meanwhile, the OPSC has also invited online applications for the recruitment of 47 posts of Drugs Inspector (Group B) of the Odisha Drugs Control Service ( Drugs Control Administration) under Health & Family Welfare Department.

The recruitments will be made under the scale of pay-cell-1 of level 10 (44,900- 1,42,000) of pay matrix under ORSP Rules, 2017 with dearness and other allowances.

The link for online application and submission shall be made available in the OPSC website from September 15, 2022. The last date is October 14, 2022.
