RRC Western Railway announces vacancy against cultural quota, check details

The Railway Recruitment Cell has invited online applications from interested applicants for recruitment against cultural quota under the jurisdiction of Western Railways for the year 2022-23.

Applicants can submit their applications ONLINE only on RRC’s website i.e. https://www.rrc-wr.com on or before December 16.

Educational qualification

To fulfill the eligibility criteria, the applicant should have passed Matriculation plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship/ Matriculation plus ITI approved/ 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate for NTPC categories.

The candidate must pose Degree / Diploma Certificate from a Government recognised Institute in relevant discipline. 

Age limit

The age limit is 18 years to 30 years as on January 1, 2023. Upper age limit is relaxable as per the norms of government of India.

• SC/ST: 5 years

• OBC: 3 years

• PWD: 15 years

Application fee

• UR/OBC: Rs 500

• All other categories: Rs 250

Selection process

The recruitment will be based on the Written Test / CBT followed by a practical demonstration and document verification. 

Candidates recommended for appointment will have to undergo medical examination.

Pay scale

Selected candidates will be paid Level - 2 of VII CPC Pay Matrix Rs 19,900 – Rs 63,200.
