ITBP announces 287 vacancies for Constable posts, apply by Dec 22

The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) invites eligible Indian nationals including candidates from Nepal and Bhutan for the recruitment of Constable/ Tradesmen Group ‘C’ Non Gazetted (Non – Ministerial) Temporary Basis.

Registration for the post has already commenced today, i.e on November 23. Interested candidates are advised to apply for the post on or before December 22 at the official website of ITBP i.e. itbpolice.nic.in.

• Gardener: 16

• Cobbler: 31

• Safai karamchari: 78

• Washerman: 89

• Barber: 55

Educational qualification

Candidates should have passed 10th/12th/ITI from a recognised Board and Institution.

Selection process

The selection process will consist of Physical Efficiency Test, Physical Standard Test, Written Test, Trade Test, Practical Test Verification of Documents, Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Review Medical Examination (RME).

Age limit

For the posts of Constable ( Tailor, Gardener, and Cobbler) the age of candidates must be 18 to 23 years as on closing date of the application process.

The age limit for the post of Constable (safai karamchari, washerman, and barber) is 18 to 25 years as on December 22.

• For Male (ST): 162.5 cm, For female: 150 cm
