BEL recruitment 2022: Apply for 260 vacancies, salary over Rs 50k; check details

A big opportunity has been announced for engineers as Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has come up with fresh vacancies.

The BEL, Ghaziabad Unit, will be recruiting Trainee Engineer and Project Engineer on a contract basis.

Educational Qualification

The applicant should poses full time B.E./ B. Tech / B.Sc Engineering degree (4-year course) in relevant disciplines of Electronics /Mechanical / Computer Science from reputed University/ Institution/ College with 55% and above for General/OBC/EWS candidates and Pass Class for SC/ST/PwBD Candidates.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for the post of Trainee Engineer is 28 years and for the post of Project Engineer it is 32 years, as on November 1, 2022.

The upper age limit will be relaxable for OBC candidates by 03 years and SC/ST candidates by 05 years.

For candidates belonging to PwBD category having minimum 40% disability or more will get 10 years relaxation in addition to the relaxation applicable to the categories mentioned above.

Selection Process

Selection will be through a Written Test followed by interview (of those who are shortlisted in the written test). 85% Marks will be allotted for the written test and 15% Marks for the interview. 

Candidates who pass the written test will be shortlisted for interview in the ratio of 1:5 in the order of merit, category and discipline.

Application Fees

• Trainee Engineer: Candidates belonging to General/ OBC/ EWS category are required to pay Rs 150 with additional 18% GST for the application fee.

• Project Engineer: Candidates belonging to General/ OBC/ EWS category are required to pay Rs 400 with additional 18% GST for the application fee.

Pay Scale for BEL jobs

• Project Engineer: Candidates will be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs 40,000 per month for the 1st year, Rs 45,000 for 2nd year, Rs 50,000 for 3rd year and in the event of extension of contract Rs 55,000 for 4th year.

• Trainee Engineer: Candidates will be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs 30,000 per month for the 1st year, Rs 35,000 for 2nd year and in the event of an extension of contract Rs 40,000 for the 3rd year.
