RCF Recruitment 2024: Apply for apprentice posts before April 9

The Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala has issued an official notification inviting applications to fill 550 apprentice positions across different trades. 

Those who meet the eligibility criteria and are interested can submit their applications online via www.rcf.indianrailways.gov.in before April 9, 2024.

Total Vacancy: 550 posts

• Fitter: 200 posts

• Welder (G&E): 230 posts

• Machinist: 5 posts

• Painter (G): 20 posts

• Carpenter: 5 posts

• Electrician: 75 posts

• AC& Ref. Mechanic: 15 posts

Age Limit

Applicants must have attained a minimum age of 15 years and should not exceed 24 years as of March 31, 2024. There's an age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates. For Persons with Disability, the upper age limit is relaxed by 10 years.

Selection Process

The selection process will be merit-based, determined by a merit list compiled from the percentage of marks obtained in matriculation (with a minimum aggregate of 50%) along with ITI marks relevant to the trade for which apprenticeship is sought.

Application Fee

Interested candidates who wish to submit their application form online are required to pay an application fee of Rs 100. SC/ST/PWD/Women Candidates are exempt from paying any fees.
