The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is presently inviting online applications for the position of Assistant.
Interested candidates must apply exclusively through the Bank's official website at www.rbi.org.in.
The application window is anticipated to open today, with the final date for submissions set for October 4, 2023.
The preliminary online test is slated for October 21 and October 23.

Age Limit
The age of the candidate should be between 20 years and 28 years as on September 1, 2023.
Educational Qualification
In order to be considered eligible for the position, candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in any field, with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PwBD candidates) and demonstrate proficiency in word processing on a personal computer.
Candidates falling within the Ex-servicemen category (excluding dependents of ex-servicemen) must either hold a graduate degree from a recognised University or have successfully completed the matriculation or its equivalent examination through the Armed Forces. Additionally, they should have completed a minimum of 15 years of service in the defense sector.
Age Relaxation

Candidates having work experience in Reserve Bank of India: To the extent of the number of years of such experience, with a maximum of 3 years.
Selection Process
Selection will be through Preliminary examination, Main examination and Language Proficiency Test (LPT).
Pay Scale
Selected Candidates will draw a starting basic pay of Rs 20,700 per month in the scale of Rs 20700 – 1200 (3) – 24300 – 1440 (4) - 30060 – 1920 (6) – 41580 – 2080 (2) – 45740 – 2370 (3) – 52850– 2850 (1) – 55700 and other allowances, as admissible from time to time. At present, initial Monthly Gross Emoluments (without HRA) for Assistant will be approximately Rs 47,849.
