Eligibility Criteria

The minimum educational qualifications for various pay grades are as follows: For GP 1800 (7th CPC Pay Matrix Level – 01), candidates must have at least completed 10th grade or possess an ITI or equivalent qualification. 

For GP 1900/2000 (7th CPC Pay Matrix Level – 02/03), candidates should have passed the Intermediate or an equivalent examination from any recognized board. For GP 2400/2800 (7th CPC Pay Matrix Level – 04/05), the minimum qualification required is a degree or its equivalent from a recognized university or institution. 

Additionally, for technical posts, candidates must have completed an Act Apprenticeship/ITI, and the certification must be approved by SCVT/NCVT. For appointments made against the sports quota in Technician–III positions, the minimum educational qualification required is 10th pass; however, the training period for such appointees will be three years.

Age Limit

The age requirement for candidates is between 18 to 25 years as of January 1, 2025. However, no age relaxation will be permitted.

Application Fee

The examination fee for candidates is set at Rs 500, with a provision to refund Rs 400 to those who actually appear in the trial examination. For candidates belonging to SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), Women, Minorities, and Economically Backward Classes, the fee is Rs 250, with a similar provision for refunding the full amount to those who participate in the trial examination.
