Railway recruitment 2022: Over 5500 apprentice posts announced, Class X pass-outs can apply 

The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR), Railway Recruitment Cell, has invited applications from eligible candidates to fill up 5636 various apprentice posts.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the posts by visiting the official website of NFR- nfr.indianrailways.gov.in starting from June 1. 

The date for submission of online application is June 30.

Important Dates:
Commencement of online application process: 1 June 2022, at 11:00 hrs
Last date for submission of online application: 30 June 2022 till 22:00 hrs

Selection Process:
Selection will be on the basis of a merit list prepared (trade wise, unit-wise, community-wise). The merit list in each unit will be prepared on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained in matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade in which apprenticeship is to be done. The panel will be on the basis of average of marks in the matriculation and ITI.

Age Limit:
The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and not more than 24 years as of 1 April 2022.

Application Fee:
Candidates need to pay Rs 100 towards application fee.
