Railway Recruitment Board, RRB has published the exam schedule of the recruitment of Junior Engineers (JE) along with that of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP), RPF SI and Technician posts.

According to the schedule, the RRB JE (CBT 1) examination for 7,951 positions is set to take place from December 6 to December 13, 2024.

The examination is being conducted for the recruitment of Junior Engineers, Depot Material Superintendents (DMS), Chemical And Metallurgy Assistant (CMA), Chemical Supervisor (Research) and Metallurgical Supervisors (Research) recruitment. 

In this case, 17 posts are for the Chemical & Metallurgical Supervisor posts under RRB Gorakhpur while 7,934 are for Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent and Chemical & Metallurgy Assistant posts.

Selection will be based on two Computer Based Tests (CBT) which will be followed by document verification and medical examination. 

Also, there will be negative marking of 1/3 mark for each wrong answer in the CBT. The registration for the exam commenced on 30th July and ended on 29th August 2024. 

A change window for application corrections with a fee was opened on August 30 and closed on  September 8, 2024.

Exam Dates for ALP, RPF SI, and Technician Posts

Also, the RRB has published the details regarding examination schedule for the posts of ALP, RPF SI and Technician. 

As per the examination schedule, ALP exam (CBT 1) will be conducted from November 25 to November 29, 2024. 

RPF SI exam will be conducted from December 2 to December 5, 2024 while the examination for Technician cadre will be held from December 6 to December 12, 2024.
