Railway Invites Applications For Teacher Posts, Check Walk-In Details

The Central Railway has released a recruitment notification inviting applications for Teacher posts. Interested and eligible candidates can walk-in for the Railway jobs on November 27, 2021.

A total of 10 posts to be filled up through the recruitment drive on a contractual basis in Central Railway, Secondary School (E.M.) & Jr. College. Kalyan. 

"This scheme will be valid for a maximum period 200 working days and a minimum period or 7 working days or availability of a regularly selected candidate whichever is earliest and subject to any instruction issued from time to time," the official notification read.

Age Limit: Candidates applying for the Railway jobs need to have attained 18 years of age but not be more than 65 years.

Important To Note For Candidates

i. Contract Teachers, who enter into contract with the Railway, will not have any claim or right for his/her continuity in service or automatic extension of the term of contract services rendered as part time contract will not have any right in respect of considering of their period in regular selection through Railway Recruitment Board and will not form part of the cadre of railway teachers.

ii. Engagement of Contract teachers on contract basis may be done for a period of not less than 07 days and not more than 200 working days. Such arrangements can be discontinued at any time without any prior notice and without assigning any reason.

iii. The maximum teaching periods allotted to such Contract teachers should not exceed 5 in number in a day.

iv. The Contract teachers would perform all the jobs related to academics including evaluation work for which no payment over and above the one for taking periods will be made.

v. Contract teachers will not be entitled to any other facility like leave, medical, passes, PTOs, transportation etc.

vi. Teachers appointed on contractual basis will not be entitled for vacation pay and during Autmn/winter break. Contract Teachers entitled for monthly consolidated remuneration and not entitled for any other perks/facilities in case Of absence from duty on working days pro-rata recovery shall be made.

vii. The calculation of pro-rata remuneration will be as follows; (Consolidated monthly remuneration X Number of days worked).
