Railway Announces Group C Vacancy In 7th CPC Scale, Know How To Apply

The North Central Railway (NCR) has announced Group 'C' vacancies and sought applications for the positions from interested and eligible candidates.

Applications for the Sports Quota (Group C) for a total of 21 posts can be submitted by December 25, 2021.

Candidates need to submit online applications which is complete in all respect on http://www.rrcpryj.org. "Candidates willing to apply for more than one category should Fill/Tick the respective category number while applying. Examination fee has to be paid separately for each category," read the official notification.

Pay Scale: For PB-I Rs. 5200- 20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 1900/2000 (Revised Pay Scale after 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level - 02/03).

Documents Candidates Need to Upload Along With the Application Form

- Copy of certificate in proof of academic qualification. 

- Copy of Certificate in proof of Date of Birth. 

- Copies of Certificates in proof of Sports achievements issued by Concerned Federations/Associations/Boards. 

- SC/ST Cast Certificates issued by the competent authority as per Annexure - A for availing relaxation as admissible and free traveling facility (Second Class Railway Pass) for attending Trial/Document Verification etc. 

Note: At the time of obtaining reservation and traveling, the Reservation Clerk and/or Ticket Checking Staff will ask for the original SC/ST certificate for verification of genuineness of the candidate.  

Application Fee for Railway Group C Recruitment 2021:

Candidates will have to pay Rs 500 while Rs 250 is the application fee for candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), Women, Minorities and Economic Backward Classes whose family income is less than Rs. 50,000 per annum, with a provision for refunding the same to those who actually appear in the Trial. 

"The Online application, complete in all respect, can be submitted up to 25/12/2021 till 23.59 Hrs. No physical copy of application is required to be sent to RRC, Allahabad," according to the notification.
