The POWERGRID, one of the largest Transmission Utilities in the World and a Maharatna Enterprise of Govt. of India, has issued an advertisement for the engagement of Assistant Officer Trainee (Law).

As per the advertisement, the eligible candidates who have appeared and qualified CLAT 2022 can apply for the posts. Already the registration process has started from May 27 and last date to apply is June 18, 2022.

Vacancy Details:

Assistant Officer Trainee (Law): 8 vacancies

Upper Age Limit: 28 years as on 18.06.2022

Essential Qualification: Full-time Three years LLB or Five years integrated Law course with not less than 60% marks or equivalent CGPA as per the formula provided by the Institute/ University.

Final Year / Semester students of academic session 2021-22, who expect their results by 31.08.2022 may also be considered eligible, provided they obtain minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate of all semesters/ years up to pre-final examination while applying.

For calculation of final score of a candidate for empanelment, the weightages assigned to CLAT 2022 marks, Group Discussion and Interview shall be as indicated below:

Marks in CLAT 2022 (applicable for admission to LLM/ PG): 85%

Group Discussion: 3%

Personal Interview: 12%

Compensation Package: Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs.40,000/- -3%- 1,40,000(IDA) during the one-year training period. They shall be paid stipend in the form of Basic Pay of Rs. 40,000/- along with IDA, HRA and Perks @12% of basic pay during training period. On successful completion of training and upon regularization, the candidate will be absorbed as Officer (Law) in E2 scale - Rs. 50,000/- 3%- 1,60,000/- (IDA).
