The Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has opened significant opportunities for candidates who have completed their ITI.

  • UR Candidates: 89 posts

  • EWS Candidates: 18 posts

  • OBC(NCL) Candidates: 47 posts  

  • SC Candidates: 39 posts

  • ST Candidates: 10 posts

Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold an ITI (Electrical) qualification in the Electrician Trade from a recognized technical board/Institute. Higher technical qualifications such as Diploma/B.E./B.Tech, whether with or without ITI, are not permissible either during the application process or at the time of joining.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit is 27 years as of December 12, 2023.

Compensatiion Package

During the training period, the stipend is Rs 18,500 per month (Rs 25,500/- when IDA becomes 50%). 

Upon successful completion of the training period, the designation is Junior Technician at W3 level in the Workmen category, with a basic pay on regularisation of Rs 21,500 in the pay scale of Rs 21,500-3%-74,000 (IDA).

Application Fee

Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 200/-, where applicable. However, SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM/DEx-SM candidates are exempted from the payment of the application fee.
