PGCIL Recruitment 2023
The Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) brings big opportunities for Engineering Graduates.
The corporation has invited applications for the recruitment of Engineer Trainees through GATE 2023.
Candidates can apply online through the official website of PGCIL at www.powergrid.in.
The application process has already commenced and the deadline for the submission of the application form is April 18.
Electrical: 83 posts
Civil: 20 posts
Electronics: 20 posts
Computer Science: 15 posts
Candidates must have a full-time BE/BTech/BSc in engineering from a recognised University/Institute.
The age of the candidate must not be exceeding 28 years as on December 31, 2022.
For OBC (NCL) candidates: 3 years
For SC/ST candidates: 5 years
For PwD candidates: 10 years
UR Candidates: Rs 500
SC/ST/PwD/Ex-SM/ Departmental Candidates: Nil
The Selection Process consists of marks obtained (out of 100) in the corresponding paper of GATE 2023, Group Discussion & Personal Interview.
The Corporation offers a very attractive pay package and is one of the best in the Industry. Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs.40,000/- -3%- 1,40,000(IDA) during the one-year training period. They shall be paid a stipend in the form of Basic Pay of Rs. 40,000/- along with IDA, HRA and Perks @12% of basic pay during training period.
On successful completion of training, the candidates will be absorbed as Engineers in E2 scale - Rs 50,000/- 3%- 1,60,000/- (IDA).
