PEO, JA recruitment 2023: OSSSC revises schedule of registration, application submission

In a major announcement, the Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has revised the schedule for the registration/re-registration/submission of online applications for the Combined Recruitment Examination-2023 for the posts of Junior Assistant and Panchayat Executive Officer (PEO).

The commission announced that the schedule for online registration/Re-registration/submission of online applications has been revised in order to ensure smooth filing of online applications.

As per the revised schedule, only registration/re-registration will be allowed from 22nd March to 27th March 2023. No registration/re-registration will be allowed after 27th March 2023 as the feature will be automatically disabled from 27th March midnight. 

"All the candidates who have already registered/re-registered for CRE- 2023 by today i.e. 22nd March are advised not to try for Filing Application online upto 27th March 2023 as this feature is disabled. They are advised to wait till 28th March to re-initiate the process of filing application," the commission said in a notice.

"From 28th March to 7th April 2023, filling of application only is allowed for the candidates who have Registered/Re-registered by 27th March and in the waiting. No fresh registration/re-registration will be allowed during this period," the commission added. 

All other terms and conditions of the advertisement will remain unaltered.

Earlier, the government recruiting body increased the vacancies for PEO and junior assistant posts from 5396 to 6862.
