Over 1400 Lady Constable posts announced, check details

West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) has published an official notification for the recruitment of Lady Constables.

Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications on wbpolice.gov.in and prb.wb.gov.in.

Registration will begin on April 23 and the last date to apply for the posts is May 22.

Total Vacancy: 1,420 posts

Educational Qualification

The applicant must have passed Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.

Age Limit

The applicant must not be less than 18 years old and must not be more than 30 years old as on January 1, 2023. The Upper-age limit shall be relaxed for the SC/ST applicants of West Bengal only by 5 years and OBC applicants of West Bengal only by 3 years. 

Selection Process

• Written test

• Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

• Final written examination 

• Interview

Pay Scale

Selected candidates are likely to be paid in West Bengal Police - 2023 in the Pay Scale of Level-6 in the pay matrix Rs 22,700 – Rs 58,500.
