OUAT announces vacancy for 49 assistant professor posts, check details

Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) has invited applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of personnel in the cadres of Assistant Professors and its equivalent in several subjects lying vacant in teaching/ research establishment.

As per the advertisement, the last date to apply for the 49 posts of Assistant Professor is November 30, 2022.

OUAT Vacancy Details

1. Agricultural Science: 22 posts in various disciplines

2. Veterinary Science: 9 posts in various disciplines

3. Fishery Science: 1 post

4. Agri Engineering & Tech: 3 posts in various disciplines

5. Basic Science & Humanities: 14 posts in various disciplines

“In the event of non-availability or availability of insufficient number of eligible women candidates belonging to any particular community, the vacancies shall be filled up by the male candidates of that community,” OUAT advertisement read.

Other instructions

The application form complete in all respects along with self attested copies of all certificates, mark sheets of all examination passed, if any, and research publications should be sent to the Registrar, OUAT, Bhubaneswar-751003, Odisha under Speed post / Registered post so as to reach on or before 5.00 P.M of 30.11.2022.

The candidates are required to deposit a non-refundable application fee of Rs700 in favour of Comptroller, OUAT, Bhubaneswar.

Upper age limit

Thirty-five year as on the last date of the application for general candidates. Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ ST / W / SEBC candidates. There will be no upper age limit for OUAT employees. Essential qualification shall be considered in respect of different posts advertised as on the last date of submission of application form.
