OSSSC Written Exam For 1000 Laboratory Technician Posts On Feb 6, Admit Card Details Here   

The Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has announced the date of the forthcoming written test to be conducted for filling up 1000 district cadre posts of laboratory technicians.

As per the latest circular of the Commission, the written examination for the post of Laboratory Technician-2021 will be held on February 6, 2022 (Sunday) in the examination centres across all districts. The duration of the examination is two hours from 11 am to 1 pm. 

The recruiting body had earlier released the plan of the written examination. According to the examination plan, the written examination will be held for one paper (Paper I) for 100 marks (MRQ type in OMR system).

The minimum qualifying marks for ST/SC, PwD, Ex-serviceman and Sports candidates will be 30 per cent while it is 35 per cent for candidates belonging to other categories.    

Informing about the admit card, the Commission said, "The Admission letters will be available in the website of the Commission www.osssc.gov.in before 15 days of the date of examination, which may be downloaded by the candidates by using their User ID and Password to appear the examination."

"No hard copy of Admission Letter will be sent to any candidate by post. Candidates may visit the website of the Commission regularly for updates," it added. 

The Laboratory Technicians will be appointed on contractual basis in various district establishments and seven Medical College and Hospitals under the Health & Family Welfare Department of the Government of Odisha.
