OSSSC recruitment 2024: Odisha govt to recruit 2629 teachers in govt schools, invites application

The Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has announced the recruitment of the district cadre posts of teachers.

It has sought applications online for different categories of teachers of district Cadre posts of teachers in government schools under SC &ST Development department and M&BCW department on Monday. 

The total number of vacant posts is 2629 in several categories of teachers. 

The vacancies will be filled up for the district cadre posts of teachers in TGT(Arts), TGT(Science-PCM), TGT(Sclonce-CB2), Sanskrit Teacher, Hind teacher, Physical Education Teacher (PET), Tribal Language Teacher and Sevak/ Sevika in Government Schools under ST & SC Development and  M & BCW Department.

Prospective candidates can avail of the details of vacancies, scale of pay, age, eligibility and other terms and conditions on the web portal of the commission.

Opening date for online registration  -- 01.04.2024 
Closing date for online registration– 25.04.2024 
Submission  date for online application – 01.04.2024 
Last date for submission of online application – 30-04. 2024.

The department advised the candidates not to wait till the last date and time and to submit their applications well within the timeline. The OSSSC said application will be received on online mode and it will not be held responsible if the candidates are not able to submit their applications due to last minute rush.
