The Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has postponed the written test to be conducted for recruitment to 4070 district cadre posts of nursing officer. The test was scheduled to be conducted on October 30.   

"The Written Test for the post of Nursing Officer-2022 scheduled to be held on 30.10.2022 (Sunday) from 11.00 AM — 1.00 PM vide Commission's notice No - 11E- 47/2022- 341(C)/OSSSC dt.15.09.2022 is postponed until further notice," the OSSSC said in a notice.

The written test was earlier scheduled to be held on October 16 and rescheduled to October 30.

Earlier, the commission had said that the admission letters will be available on the website of the Commission www.osssc.gov.in before 15 days of the date of examination, which may be downloaded by the candidates by using their User ID and password to appear the examination. 

Plan of Examination: 

There shall be a Written Examination for 100 marks (MCQ type in OMR system) in one paper only.

Subjects of Written Test- 

Questions on subjects as per syllabus of GNM/B.Sc. Nursing Course (60 questions, 60 marks)
Questions based on practical skills (25 questions, 25 marks)
Arithmetic (HSC Standard) (10 questions, 10 marks) 
English (HSC Standard) (5 questions, 5 marks) Total 100 marks.

The minimum qualifying marks for SC, ST, PwD, Ex-serviceman and Sportsperson category of candidates shall be 30% and for other candidates, it shall be 35%.
